The Vacancy

Quarriers is hiring Full & Part time Support Workers (Female only) to join our friendly team in Quarrier Village, supporting women with physical and mental health needs to live safe, meaningful and independent lives.

This is a rewarding, person‑centred role where every shift truly makes a difference.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will:

• Provide compassionate support to women with physical and mental health support needs
• Build positive relationships in a warm, homely cottage environment
• Support with daily living, community activities and independence
• Assist with PEG‑feeding and other clinical tasks (full training provided)
• Promote wellbeing, dignity and choice
• Work as part of a supportive, experienced team

Shifts & Working Pattern

This is a 24/7 supported living service, and you must be flexible to work a rota that meets the needs of the people we support.

Shifts include:

• Early shifts
• Late shifts
• Evenings
• Weekends
• Sleepovers (approx. 1 per week)

Flexibility is essential for consistent and high‑quality care.

Female‑Only Driver Requirement

Due to the specific needs of the people we support, this role is open to female applicants only, and requires:

• A full UK driving licence
• Access to a vehicle

This is an Occupational Requirement in line with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
