Female Support Worker - Colden Common, Winchester (SO21)

Full Time | 37.5 Hours per Week

Shift Patterns: 7:00am to 2:30pm and 2:30pm to 10:00pm

Full UK Driving Licence Essential - You will be required to drive mobility vehicles (both manual and automatic).

We are looking for caring, enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our friendly support team in Colden Common, Winchester (SO21).

You will be supporting two gentlemen and one lady in their 50s to live fulfilling and independent lives. They enjoy a variety of activities, including visiting local garden centres, shopping trips, countryside walks and weekly swimming sessions.

This is a rewarding role where no two days are the same. You'll play an important part in supporting people to achieve their goals, maintain their independence and enjoy the activities they love.

As a Support Worker, you will:

  • Provide personal care and support, including moving and handling assistance.
  • Administer medication and support with health-related needs, including rescue medication for epilepsy.
  • Accompany and support individuals to access community activities, appointments and weekly swimming sessions.
  • Support with daily living tasks, including meal preparation, household cleaning and laundry.
  • Encourage independence, choice and inclusion in all aspects of daily life.
  • Build positive relationships and provide person-centred support tailored to individual needs.

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Compassionate, patient and reliable.
  • Confident supporting people with varying needs.
  • Comfortable providing personal care and moving and handling support.
  • Willing to support individuals with medication requirements, including epilepsy support.
  • A driver with a full UK driving licence.
  • Passionate about making a positive difference every day.
