About Dimensions

Your efforts are recognised and rewarded with benefits and recognition programs that matter - supporting your wellbeing, financial security, and work-life balance.

Thanks to our amazing teams, Dimensions Group has been accredited as a Great Place to Work for 2026 — our eighth consecutive year of recognition.

We are recruiting dedicated and reliable support workers in Sheffield (S35) to work with a young lady in her late 20s. She enjoys an active lifestyle and thrives when she is busy. Her interests include cooking and baking, arts and crafts, swimming, cycling, long walks, and visiting theme parks. She responds well to people who are energetic, encouraging and happy to take part in activities alongside her.

The lady we support can experience behaviours of distress and may also be triggered by certain sensory sensitivities, including specific fabrics, textures and visually cluttered environments. For this reason, the ideal candidate will be calm, observant and able to maintain a low-stimulus, well-organised setting. You will need to adapt your approach thoughtfully, offering reassurance, structure and emotional support when needed. Full positive behaviour support training will be provided; however, previous experience supporting individuals with complex needs is essential.

This role would suit someone who leads an active lifestyle, is emotionally resilient, and understands the importance of providing consistent, calm and predictable care.

About the role

  • Supporting and managing with her emotional and behaviour distresses
