About the role

We're looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Support Workers to join our team in Trowbridge (BA14), supporting four adults aged 30s–50s with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), epilepsy and complex health needs.

This is a highly person-centred service where you'll provide 1:1 and 2:1 support, helping people enjoy active, engaging and meaningful lives while supporting their health, wellbeing and independence.

The people we support enjoy:

  • Hydrotherapy and swimming
  • Music, sensory activities and interactive experiences
  • Community outings and day trips
  • Video games and relaxation time
  • Exploring new activities and opportunities
  • Holidays and memorable experiences

Support includes personal care, mobility support, medication administration, PEG feeding, meal preparation and supporting people to participate in activities they enjoy. Full training will be provided for all specialist health and support needs.

Family involvement is important, and you'll work closely with relatives and colleagues to provide consistent, high-quality support.

Shifts:

  • 7:00am – 4:00pm
  • 4:00pm – 10:00pm
  • Long day + sleep-in: 9:00am – 9:00am (following day)
  • Sleep-ins: 10:00pm – 7:00am (£50 paid to sleep)

Rotas are provided in advance to support a healthy work-life balance.

About you

Experience is helpful but not essential — we'll provide all the training and support you need to succeed.
