Our team within the Greater Manchester area support people with learning disabilities to live a life that makes sense to them. We are looking to recruit a Support Worker to join the team who support David and Simon.
Simon* will need some support with mobility issues and David has a visual impairment. You will help them develop independence around the tasks of everyday living such as cooking, cleaning, and paying bills, at the same time as supporting them with their health and wellbeing, including mental health.
Just as importantly you will be supporting them to be able to do the things that they really enjoy. Your ability to drive unlocks the potential for them to broaden their horizons. and experiece the best of life. Simon loves to get out and about, enjoying both goingf for a drive and exporing in his wheelchair.
This is an exciting opportunity for the staff team to be part of this amazing journey where we truly make a difference to someone's life. We will need fun loving energetic people who have a zest for life who will bring new ideas and are able to contribute in a positive way to someone's life. The role will involve some personal care.
We are looking for full- time 37.5 hours per week. You must have a UK manual driving licence, as you will be driving service vehicles.

Training and Development
At Macintyre we fully support your training and development. We know it can be daunting to start a new job, and not everyone learns the same way, so throughout your probation we will provide you with a mixture of eLearning, face-to-face training and mentoring support whilst on the job.
