Make a Difference by Supporting People to Live Life Their Way
We are looking for caring, reliable and enthusiastic Support Workers to join our friendly team supporting four adults in their home. This is a busy, active and welcoming household where every person is encouraged to live as independently as possible while receiving the right support to achieve their goals.
The people we support enjoy a wide range of activities and interests. From attending social groups, enjoying meals out, visiting wildlife parks and local attractions, to shopping trips, charity shop visits, garden BBQs, and relaxing over tea and cake. Maintaining routines is important for some individuals, and you'll play a key role in helping them to enjoy the activities that matter most to them.
This role is all about promoting independence, encouraging choice, and building positive relationships. You'll support people to develop confidence, make decisions, access their communities, and live fulfilling lives in a way that works for them.
As this is an active household, we're looking for someone who:
✨Communicates clearly and confidently.
✨Can adapt their approach to meet different needs.
✨Enjoys working as part of a team.
✨Is proactive, positive and patient.
✨Understands the importance of promoting independence.
✨ Enjoys helping others achieve their goals and celebrate their successes.
✨Is willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends and sleep-ins.
Experience within health and social care is welcome, but what matters most is your values and willingness to learn. We can teach you the practical skills; what we're looking for is someone who genuinely enjoys helping others thrive.
