We are looking for an enthusiastic, resourceful and forward-thinking person and are excited to be recruiting a Support Worker to support P within our service in The Firs in Paignton.

About the Role:
 You will be supporting an individual who needs staff to be patient and calm-natured

· Comfortable to sit quietly and use compassionate and considerate techniques to engage them in activities.

· Be proactive and passionate to support P to live-life and lead more than a safe existence.

· Non-judgemental and focuses more on why something happened opposed to what happened.

· Able to investigate, hear all perspectives, analyse information, and develop and adapt ways of working.

· Thrive on working closely with family, wider networks, and your colleagues, collaborating and coproducing with the expertise of others to enable a holistic, truly person-led care and support.

About the usual working pattern:

  • To be discussed at interview. Shift patterns will include weekend working on a rotational basis.

Essential for the role: 

  • Full UK driver’s license and have use of a car.​
