We're looking for caring, resilient and positive Support Workers to join our friendly team in Newcastle, supporting adults within 4 forensic supported living homes to build independence, develop life skills and achieve their personal goals.
This is a unique opportunity to support people on their journey towards greater independence, helping them to live fulfilling lives within their community while providing the encouragement, consistency and understanding they need to succeed.
About the role
As a Support Worker, you'll be building positive relationships and providing person-centred support tailored to each individual's needs.
Your role may include:
- Supporting people with daily living skills and routines.
- Encouraging independence, confidence and personal development.
- Helping individuals access community activities, appointments and social opportunities.
- Providing emotional reassurance and practical support.
- Supporting with medication where required.
- Assisting with meal planning, shopping and household tasks.
- Promoting wellbeing, healthy lifestyles and positive outcomes.
- Following support plans and risk management strategies.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, families and other professionals.
No two days are the same, and you'll play a key role in empowering the people we support to make choices, achieve goals and live the life they choose.

Previous experience in health and social care, mental health, forensic services, supported living or behavioural support is beneficial, but just as importantly, we're looking for people with the right values and attitude.
Shifts:
Long Day Sleep-In Shifts: 9am – 9am the following day
Day Shifts: 9am - 6pm
Sleep-Ins: 10pm – 8am (Paid to Sleep)
We provide rotas at least 4 weeks in advance to support a healthy work-life balance, which we’re very passionate about!
