This is a warm and sociable home where routines, friendships and community activities are important. The gentlemen enjoy spending time together, sharing laughs with staff and making the most of opportunities to get out and about.

Their interests include:

  • Music, films and sensory activities
  • Arts, crafts and local community groups
  • Meals out and visits to parks and open spaces
  • Sensory story sessions and social activities
  • Spending time chatting and enjoying familiar routines

Two of the gentlemen are blind and some communicate without using words, so patience, observation and building strong relationships are key to providing excellent support.

You'll support with daily living tasks, personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, community activities and promoting independence. Two gentlemen use wheelchairs when accessing the community, and you'll help ensure everyone can participate in the activities they enjoy.

Shifts are worked across mornings, afternoons, evenings and sleep-ins, with rotas provided in advance to support a healthy work–life balance.

You'll be a great fit if you're:

  • Patient, caring and person-centred
  • A strong communicator who pays attention to detail
  • Positive, proactive and organised
  • Comfortable supporting people with a range of communication needs
  • Reliable with good timekeeping
  • Someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships
  • Able to work well as part of a team
  • A driver with a full UK driving licence

Experience is helpful but not essential — we'll provide all the training and support you need to succeed.

  • Flexible shift patterns to suit your needs
  • 30 days paid Annual Leave(including public holidays – pro rata)
  • Opportunities for career progression
  • High Street Discounts – Retail and Entertainment (supermarkets, hospitality, pubs, cinema etc.)
  • Life Assurance and Company Pension
  • Industry leading training
