Recognised as a Great Place to Work for seven years running, this is more than a job – it’s a place where you can truly be you.

Are you enthusiastic, tech-savvy, and motivated to make a real difference every day?
If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Support Worker to join our team in Hartlepool.

Who Will You Be Supporting?

You will support one young man in his own home. He has learning disabilities and autism and can display behaviours of distress, so he thrives with consistent, positive and understanding support from people who are patient, calm and dependable.

What are his interests?

Building strong relationships is key in this role, and shared interests really matter. He has a big personality and enjoys:

Gaming – especially PlayStation, with a particular love for GTA
Trains and fancy cars – a real enthusiast
Newcastle United – a proud supporter of the Toon
Being out and about – enjoys car journeys, monster trucks, motorbikes and train trips
Staying active – loves beating his step count, so you’ll need the energy to keep up!

This is a fantastic role for someone who enjoys being active, engaging with technology and supporting someone to live life to the fullest. You’ll play a key part in encouraging independence, supporting daily routines, and helping him access activities he enjoys—both at home and out in the community.

If you’re someone who brings patience, positivity and enthusiasm into everything you do, this could be the perfect opportunity to make a meaningful and lasting impact.

What Will You Be Doing?

Each day will be different, but you will be supporting with:

  • Personal Care: Providing hand-over-hand support and prompting for personal care tasks.
  • Medication Administration: Ensuring residents receive their medication as prescribed.

  • Daily Living:Helping residents live their lives the way they choose to.
  • Communication: Supporting residents with varied communication needs, including verbal communication, Makaton, and other methods.
