Are you an experienced Care Assistant or Support Worker with a passion for helping others? Do you thrive in a calm, friendly environment and want to be part of a team that truly changes lives?

We’re looking for a dedicated Support Worker to join our team and provide support to a young man with life changing injuries to help him live independently in his own home

About the Role:

You’ll be part of a close-knit team who provide day to day support in this gentleman's own home.  In this role, you'll support with some personal care and moving and positioning, so previous experience in moving and positioning would be beneficial.

The young man we support does his own cooking, medication and finances and is a very private person, so we're looking for friendly individuals who would be interested in sharing his interests.

UK driving licence is essential as the role would require driving this gentleman's vehicle during daily activities.  For insurance purposes, candidates must be aged 25 or over.

Access to your own vehicle would be useful due to the location of the service.

We are passionate about our people and every year we invest heavily in our front-line worker pay, in line with the Living Wage increase each April. This means that from 1st April 2026, our payrate for this role will be increasing to £13.86 per hour.

 Shifts & Contracts:

  • Shifts: Available shifts include 8am - 1pm, 8am - 5pm, 8am - 11am and 11pm - 1am and all staff would be expected to take a share of the different shifts
  • Contracts: Can range from 10 to 25 hours per week or bank (casual) contracts are also available
