Join Our Team as a Support Worker in WR9 (Droitwich Area)

– Current Support Worker

We’re looking for Support Workers to join our dedicated team in WR9, supporting six incredible individuals aged 19–31 with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) and complex needs. This is a highly rewarding role where teamwork and creativity make all the difference.

  • Six people living in self-contained apartments on one floor (2 ladies and 4 gents)
  • Each person has unique personalities and interests, with strong family involvement
  • Most use wheelchairs and hoists; confidence with manual handling is essential

Their Interests Include:

  • College attendance (several individuals attend 3–5 days a week)
  • Busy social lives, cinema trips, bowling, and walks in the park
  • Gaming, comics, cartoons, and spending time in the garden
  • Community roles and personal hobbies

You’ll provide 1:1 care and support, ensuring safety, dignity, and engagement. Responsibilities include:

  • Personal care and manual handling
  • Supporting PEG feeding and dysphagia needs
  • Administering medication (including buccal for epilepsy)
  • Promoting independence and meaningful routines
  • Engaging in social and community activities
  • Spotting non-verbal communication cues and responding with empathy
  • Days:7:00 AM – 3:00 PM / 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM / Long Days: 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM
  • Nights:10:00 PM – 7:00 AM / 10:00 PM – 8:30 AM / 10:00 PM – 9:30 AM

Rotas provided in advance for work-life balance.
