About the People We Support
You’ll be supporting two wonderful individuals in their 60s–70s who truly have a zest for life and love making the most of every day.
They enjoy:
Trips to the cinema and theatre
Shopping trips and dining out
A great mix of music — from ABBA to Cliff Richard
Watching Eurovision and chatting all things pop and music
They bring energy, personality and a real sense of fun — and they’re looking for someone who can share in those moments.
Both individuals have learning disabilities and dysphagia, so you’ll play an important role in providing safe, consistent and person-centred support.
At times, you may need to offer emotional reassurance during moments of distress, but you won’t be on your own — we provide full Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) training to give you the skills and confidence you need.
