Here at Sense, we support people with complex disabilities to live the life they choose. We're looking for a Support Worker to join our Supported Living service in Dover, an eight-bedroom service where each person lives in their own individual flat and is supported on a one-to-one basis.

This is a permanent, full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, paying £13.00 per hour. The role includes regular sleep-ins and a varied shift pattern, full details can be discussed at interview.

You'll be working one-to-one with people with a wide range of disabilities, helping them access their community, build daily living skills, and grow in independence. No two days will be the same.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Positive, with a can-do attitude
  • Caring and empathetic
  • Passionate about enhancing other people's lives
  • Willing to work towards a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent, or already holds one

This role might include supporting people with:

  • Everyday tasks like cooking and cleaning
  • Personal care and hygiene
  • Finances and medication
  • Going into the community for shopping, trips, and social activities
