About the role
- Support Worker
- Full time (37.5 hours) / Part time can be considered.
- Full Uk MANUAL driving licence with access to own car essential.
- Woodhall Spa, LN10
- £12.85 per hour.
We are looking for a Support Worker in Woodhall Spa to join a friendly and supportive team. In this role, you will play a key part in helping people live the life they choose while feeling safe, supported and valued.
The people we support enjoy active and varied lives. This includes walking, bowling, dancing, listening to music, crafts, shopping, cooking, and baking, going on holiday, days out, family time and simply enjoying being out and about in the car. Your role will be to encourage independence while offering the right level of support to make these experiences possible.
You will support with all aspects of everyday life, including personal care, medication, household tasks, shopping, cooking, and attending appointments. You will also help people develop skills, try new hobbies, and record progress using digital systems. Honesty, patience, and reliability are essential, the people we support depend on consistency and trust.
You will work a two-week rolling rota covering earlies, lates, mid shifts, long days and sleep-in nights, and you will be expected to work every other weekend.
About you
You do not need previous experience; we’ll provide all the training and support you need. What matters most is your attitude. You’ll be patient, dependable and genuinely motivated to make a difference. You’ll communicate openly, work well as part of a team, and approach your work with integrity and respect.
To be considered for this role, you must hold a full UK manual driving licence and have access to your own car. There is no suitable public transport early in the morning or late in the evening, and the people we support all have their own cars. You’ll also need basic IT skills and the flexibility to work rota’s shifts, including sleep-ins and weekends.
