Support Worker
Who you will be supporting
We are 2 Gentlemen in our late 60s,
One of them has the brightest smile that will light up any room and is a very gentle man.
The other has a humorous personality and will love to talk with you.
They live with have the following health related needs, Learning disabilities and Dementia, Epilepsy, Anxiety, and agitation.
There is currently an empty bedroom that will hopefully be filled soon with a third person.
They both rely on modern technology to support us in our mobility, stand aid, commode, using a hoist, staff assisted wheelchairs, profiling bed. Staff will fully support us to get around our home and out and about.
We have different challenges in our lives which include Dysphagia (Swallowing difficulties). Epilepsy and Dementia, Learning disabilities and incontinence care and support.
All our staff are fully trained to support us with our health and physical needs.
What Is Important To Us
We enjoy indoor and outdoor activities, including cinema, dining out, local walks or going further afield Southport, the safari park and attending the Friday disco. Plus, the non-drivers will access the Mersey link transport.
Other interests we have are listening to music, 80s, Abba, Elvis and watching Liverpool football matches.
We are individuals who love attention, inclusion, involvement and welcome all visitors. We like our staff to be caring, respectful and have a love of football, music, a purpose sense of drive, and be energetic to bring new opportunities seeking out what we like.
Where We Live
Train and Bus route to Liverpool Town centre. Via Huyton
Nice local area with local shops and nearby Huyton shopping Centre, or Belle Vale.

Our home is led by Service Leader who will ensure all staff are fully supported to reach your full potential.

All our staff are fully trained, including specialised training tailored to person centred support.
The service is a 24 Hour/ Waking Night to assist with independent living and achieving our desires and aspirations.
SHIFT PATTERNS
Long day 08.00-20.00 Days 2–3-day staff
Activity shifts throughout the week 12.00-18.00 or as needed (theatre 14.00-23.00) 20.00-08.00 , Nights x 1 waking staff & 1 sleep in staff
