You’ll be supporting adults with severe learning disabilities, a range of health needs, and physical disabilities across three welcoming homes in Portsmouth. No two days are the same — you’ll be helping people live full, meaningful lives at home and in the community.
Your shifts will include a mix of:
- Split shifts: 06:30–09:00 + 15:30–22:00(once a week)
- Day shifts: 07:00–14:30,14:00–21:30,08:30–16:00
- Providing personal care with dignity and respect
- Supporting people to access the community — including travelling by bus and train
- Using wheelchairs safely and confidently
- Building positive, trusting relationships with the people you support
You don’t need previous experience — just compassion, reliability, and the willingness to learn. You’ll need to be comfortable with personal care, physically able to push wheelchairs, and happy to work two weekends out of three.
