At Paddock Way, we currently support two gentlemen with different needs, providing personalised support that promotes independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes.
💬 About the Role
As a Support Worker, you will:
- Support people to develop daily living skills and increase their independence
- Assist with cooking, budgeting and maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment
- Provide personal care and support with eating and drinking where required
- Support people to access activities, hobbies and opportunities within their local community
- Assist with managing finances and attending health appointments
- Administer and record medication as required
- Promote choice, dignity and person-centred support at all times
- Complete daily records and support documentation
- Work both as part of a team and independently during lone-working shifts
🕒 Shift Details
This is a 26-hour per week position, with additional relief opportunities available.
Shifts vary in length and may include:
- Days
- Evenings
- Long day shifts of up to 12 hours
- Weekends
- Waking nights
- Bank holidays
Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the people we support.
🎓 Experience & Training
Previous experience is helpful but not essential. If you have the right values, attitude and willingness to learn, we'll provide:
