At Paddock Way, we currently support two gentlemen with different needs, providing personalised support that promotes independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes.

πŸ’¬ About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will:

  • Support people to develop daily living skills and increase their independence
  • Assist with cooking, budgeting and maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment
  • Provide personal care and support with eating and drinking where required
  • Support people to access activities, hobbies and opportunities within their local community
  • Assist with managing finances and attending health appointments
  • Administer and record medication as required
  • Promote choice, dignity and person-centred support at all times
  • Complete daily records and support documentation
  • Work both as part of a team and independently during lone-working shifts

πŸ•’ Shift Details

This is a 26-hour per week position, with additional relief opportunities available.

Shifts vary in length and may include:

  • Days
  • Evenings
  • Long day shifts of up to 12 hours
  • Weekends
  • Waking nights
  • Bank holidays

Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the people we support.
