Centre Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in helping vulnerable individuals achieve their goals and live more independently.
What You’ll Be Doing- Working closely with service users to understand their needs and create person-centred support plans.
- Empowering individuals through coaching and practical guidance on everyday skills like budgeting, nutrition, and tenancy management.
- Coordinating essential services within the centre, from food provisions to form completion.
- Building strong partnerships with local agencies and charities to ensure holistic support.
- Promoting engagement and confidence, helping people take positive steps toward independence.
- Supporting volunteers and contributing to a vibrant, community-focused centre.
What We’re Looking For- A caring, empathetic person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with adults who have support needs and a good understanding of safeguarding.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Someone who is self-motivated, proactive, and passionate about helping others.
- IT literacy and confidence in maintaining accurate records.
