Here at Sense, we support people with complex disabilities to live the life they choose. We have Support Worker opportunities within our Supported Living service in Sheffield, working with people with sensory loss in their own homes and out in the community; from cinema trips and bowling to walks in the park.

We have permanent part-time and full-time roles available, working up to 37.5 hours per week on a varied 4-week rota covering 8am–4pm, 4pm–10pm, and 10pm–8am across Monday to Sunday, paying £13.00 per hour with enhanced rates for nights and overtime. Flexibility across the rota is essential.

A full manual UK driving licence is essential for this role. The role also includes regular sleep-ins, paid at 50p per hour. Previous care experience, BSL skills, and knowledge of multi-sensory impairments are all an advantage as full training will be provided.
