At Sense, we don’t just provide care, we champion independence. We are looking for a dedicated Support Worker to join our vibrant supported living service in the heart of Malone. This is a part-time position offering 24 hours per week at a rate of £12.50 per hour, with a schedule that includes working alternate weekends to ensure our residents always have the support they need.
You’ll be joining an established, close-knit team supporting six incredible individuals. This is a house full of personality, in fact, one of the people we support was recently named Sense Person of the Year!
No experience? No problem. We don’t hire based on a CV, we hire based on your values. If you are caring, positive, and ready to learn, we will provide all the expert training you need to feel confident and empowered in your role.
Your Impact
There’s no such thing as a "typical" day here because everyone we support is a unique individual. Your priority is empowering them to live the life they choose. This might include:
- Daily Adventures:Heading into Belfast for shopping, social clubs, or even a night out.
- Life Skills:Supporting with cooking, cleaning, and managing finances.
- Wellbeing:Assisting with personal care, hygiene, and medication.
- Work & Hobbies:Helping people engage with their jobs or favourite pastimes.
You must hold a full manual Drivers license, and be willing to drive a resident's vehicle.
