Support Worker – Adult Supported Living

Your new opportunity
We are recruiting Support Workers to join our Adult Supported Living services in Johnstone and Paisley, supporting adults with a range of disabilities to live their lives with choice, dignity and purpose.
As a Support Worker, you’ll provide person‑centred support to adults in their own homes, in group living environments and out in the community. Support may be 1:1 or alongside others, depending on individual needs.
Every day is different - from supporting someone with daily living tasks or managing their home, to helping them attend college, social activities, holidays, or appointments.
You’ll be supported by a dedicated local management team and work as part of a skilled, values‑driven staff team.
Working pattern: We are offering 1 x 35 and 1 x 38-hour post (Paisley) & 1x39 and 1 x 28-hour post (Johnstone). Available to work service rota is essential as we support people 24/7, shifts will include: early's, lates, weekends and sleepovers based on service needs.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Promoting physical, emotional wellbeing and independence
- Supporting individuals with daily living, household tasks and community activities
- Administering medication safely (where required and trained)
- Contributing to person‑centred support plans and daily records
- Supporting people to build and maintain meaningful relationships
- Acting as a Key Worker and, where appropriate, a Lead Person on shift
- Working rotas including days, evenings, sleepovers and weekends
- Upholding Quarriers’ values, policies and professional standards at all times.
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need formal qualifications to apply - we’re looking for people with the right values and approach.
You’ll ideally have:
- Experience (personal or professional) in a caring or support role
- Strong values around equality, dignity and respect
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A flexible, reliable and team‑focused approach
- Willingness to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and complete required qualifications (support provided)
