Support Worker

Hours: 37.5 hours per week: Flexible shifts over a 24/7 week, 365 days a year (Incl. weekends, bank holidays, and sleep in shifts on a rota basis)
Location: New Forest
Salary: £12.75 per hour – increasing to £13.75 after probation

About the role:As a Support Worker, you’ll be engaging directly with those we support, inspiring fun and creativity whilst encouraging independence and allowing individuals to live, happy, healthy and fulfilling lives.

What you’ll do:

To support individuals to meet their goals and outcomes in health, wellbeing and independence
Assist individuals with their personal, social, and healthcare needs as required whilst maintaining accurate records
To work as part of a team as well as lone working within the community as needed
Work with allocated individuals as their keyworker
Interact and communicate with the people you support in a way that promotes dignity and respect
Support individuals with everyday tasks as required.

What are we looking for?

Motivated, honest, and approachable individuals who are great at building and nurturing relationships
Experience of providing high levels of care and support to neuro disabled people in a social care setting
Aspirations to develop skills at support worker level and beyond
Flexibility to work shifts 365 days a year including weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis
Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care is desirable but training will be provided
A full UK driving licence with access to a motorised vehicle is essential.
