You'll be supporting up to four people aged between 47 and 73 who share a welcoming home in a peaceful residential area of Waterlooville. This is a service where relationships are at the centre of everyday life, creating a close-knit, family atmosphere where people genuinely enjoy spending time together and supporting one another.
The people who live here have a range of support needs, including autism, learning disabilities, epilepsy, mental health needs, cerebral palsy and dysphagia. While everyone is unique, what they all share is a love of life, a strong sense of individuality, and a desire to be respected for who they are.
This is a home full of personality. People enjoy music, dancing, cooking, parties, garden games, BBQs and spending time out in the community. Family and friendships are incredibly important, and the team takes pride in ensuring loved ones always feel welcomed and included.
The home itself is bright, spacious and comfortable, with modern facilities and shared spaces where people can relax, socialise and enjoy activities together. Located close to local shops, community facilities and public transport, there are plenty of opportunities to stay connected to the local area. People also enjoy trips further afield, including shopping in Fareham, days out in Southsea, and exploring Portsmouth's seafront, restaurants and attractions.
You'll be joining a team of around 20 colleagues who are passionate about providing person-centred support. No two days are the same, and whether you're supporting someone to attend an appointment, enjoy a favourite activity, develop independence, or simply have a great day, you'll play a vital role in helping people live the lives they choose.
