Here at Sense, we support people with complex disabilities to live the life they choose. We're looking for a Support Worker to join our established, close-knit team in Malone, Belfast. This is a permanent, part-time role working 20 hours per week on alternate weekends, paying £13.00 per hour.
You'll be supporting six individuals full of personality. In fact, one of the people we support was recently named Sense Person of the Year. Every day brings something different, and your priority will be empowering the people you support to live the life they choose.
No experience needed. We don't hire based on a CV, we hire based on your values. If you're caring, positive, and ready to learn, we'll give you all the training you need to feel confident and empowered in your role.
A full manual driving licence and willingness to drive a resident's vehicle are essential for this role.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Positive, with a can-do attitude
- Caring, empathetic, and passionate about enhancing other people's lives
- Available to work alternate weekends
- Willing to attend training and develop in their role
This role might include supporting people with:
- Everyday tasks like cooking, cleaning, and managing finances
- Personal care, hygiene, and medication
- Getting into Belfast for shopping, social clubs, and nights out
- Their hobbies, interests, and work
