About the Service
TouchBase Glasgow is a modern, purpose-built centre in Kinning Park, designed to support adults with disabilities and additional needs. Recently refurbished and close to excellent public transport links, our vibrant hub offers a café, arts and music spaces, and a welcoming courtyard. It’s more than a day centre—it’s a place for creativity, connection, and community.
We provide a dynamic environment where individuals can enjoy activities such as arts, music, cooking, and social events, fostering independence and personal growth. Every day is different, and you’ll play a key role in helping people live meaningful lives—whether that’s organising a baking competition, supporting a pamper morning, or exploring the local community.
What you’ll do:
- Support and monitor healthcare needs, including administering medication and providing personal care.
- Promote independence and respect individuality in line with each person’s Support Plan.
- Maintain accurate records of daily tasks and activities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and the people we support to ensure high-quality care and communication.
- You’ll join a fun, fast-paced team where building trusting relationships is at the heart of what we do. Together, we help each person achieve their goals and unlock their full potential.
Centre hours:
Our day centre operates six days a week, offering working hours between 8:00am and 5:00pm. Our current vacancy offers 30 hours per week.
