Location: County wide (office based at one of Age Uk Lancashire offices with occasional travel where required)

Salary: £23,478 FTE

Hours:35hrs per week.

Term: Permanent Contract

Are you looking for a varied and rewarding role where you can help support a service that makes a
real difference to the lives of older people by helping them stay independent in their homes?

If so, we are looking to recruit a Service Administrator to support the delivery of our Support at Home Service. Our dedicated team prioritises wellbeing and independence, offering much more
than traditional cleaning and shopping services. We provide companionship, emotional support, and
practical help to ensure clients feel comfortable and supported in their own homes.

As a Service Administrator, you will have the opportunity to provide efficient and professional
administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the service. You will be the first point of
contact for referrals and enquiries, helping coordinate appointments and ensuring accurate records
and reporting are maintained.

As a Service Administrator you will:

▪ Manage enquiries, schedule new referrals and review appointments using the CRM system
▪ Maintain accurate and up-to-date digital records, prepare reports, and support monitoring
processes to evidence outcomes and impact
▪ Process customer payments and manage queries in relation to suppliers and other ad hoc
finance matters
▪ Prepare information for reports and support monitoring processes to evidence service outcomes
and impact.
▪ Assist in organising and supporting recruitment and onboarding
▪ Support the collection of data for service evaluation and reporting.
▪ Provide general administrative support to the project team to ensure the smooth day-to-day
running of the service.

To be successful in this role you will:

▪ Be able to demonstrate a person-centred approach when communicating with clients by phone
or email.
▪ Have a caring and empathetic attitude with a focus on helping people to maintain independence.
▪ Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
▪ Possess strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
▪ Be confident using IT systems including CRM databases and Microsoft applications.
▪ Be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in line with GDPR.
▪ Have an understanding of safeguarding and information governance procedures.

▪ Hold a full valid driving licence and have access to a car for business purposes.

This role will involve working closely with the whole Support at Home Service team, including the
Service Coordinators, Workers and Head of Service, as well as liaising with external partners and
other Age UK Lancashire services.

independence and enjoy choice and control over their lives.

DBS: This post is eligible for a basic DBS check and all the associated costs will be met by the
