The Pre-School Centre at Lancaster University is looking to recruit a Support Assistant-Food .

The post is indefinite and offers a contract based on working 15 hours per week, 3 hours per day for 52 weeks of the year.

Hours of work are typically 11.30 am - 2.30 pm, Monday - Friday.

All staff benefit from 25 days Annual Leave in addition to University statutory and closure days.

This role offers a great opportunity for the successful candidates to join a highly regarded childcare provider and employer , working alongside a team of experienced and enthusiastic practitioners, who are dedicated and committed to the delivery of high-quality individualised learning for each child who attends the Centre.

The Pre-School Centre is open all year and caters for approximately 200 children between the ages of 3 months and 5 years. Based on the stunning Lancaster University campus the staff and children make full use of the facilities afforded to them across the campus, with visits to the Eco-Hub, Cinema and Orchards to name but a few.

You will have some knowledge of child development, enjoy working with children and being an integral part of a team.

You will be required to complete an enhanced DBS.
