The Team Team Structure The Support and Development Worker is part of our Support and Service Delivery pillar delivering mental health support across Edinburgh. Edinburgh Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Services This role sits within Edinburgh Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Services which are offered across Edinburgh. These services sit as part of our Service Support and Delivery organisational pillar. Guided Self Help Service Guided Self-Help Support and Development Workers work alongside people to their mental health and wellbeing through offering trauma informed, person centred support through short-term one-to-one support interventions. Support and Development Workers • Facilitate initial conversations with people accessing the service, including developing support plans, outcome measures and reviews. • Provide evidence-based support, based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Interpersonal Counselling (IPC) principles; focusing on improving and understanding of mental health, wellbeing and supported self-management.
