While every effort has been made to outline the key duties of this role, the postholdermay be required to undertake additional responsibilities in line with the evolving needs of the School.Key Responsibilities:Clean and maintain all designated areas to a high standard. The primary focus will be the swimming pool, althoughother areas may include classrooms, offices, corridors, stairways, halls, sports facilities, reception areas, toilets,bathrooms, boarding accommodation, staff rooms and study areas.Carry out routine cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, and dusting and polishingfurniture and surfaces.Clean walls, paintwork, tiling, mirrors and other surfaces as required.Empty, clean and maintain waste and recycling bins in accordance with School procedures.Ensure all cleaning equipment, materials and chemicals are used, stored and secured correctly in line with COSHHregulations and School policies. Maintain cleaning cupboards and storage areas in a clean and tidy condition.Identify and report any defects, damage or maintenance issues (e.g. broken furniture or fittings) to the LineManager in a timely manner.Comply with all Health and Safety requirements at all times, reporting any concerns or incidents promptly to theCleaning Supervisor or Head of Domestic Services.Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the Cleaning Supervisor or Head of Domestic Services.Sunday Cleaner (Early Morning Shift)Head of Domestic Services and Cleaning SupervisorThis is a part-time opportunity supporting our school facilities team. Working under the direction of the Cleaning Supervisor, you will help maintain high standards ofcleanliness and hygiene across designated areas of the School, with a particular focus on theSwimming Pool.
