ab sofort | 10 Wochenstunden | in Berlin | 14,32 €/Stunde

Deine Aufgaben

• Thekendienste mit Ausleihe und Rückverbuchung von Medien sowie Nutzerberatung

• Erste Hilfe bei Fragen zu unserer Infrastruktur und Bibliotheksnutzung

• Unterstützung bei Recherchen im Bibliothekskatalog und in unseren Datenbanken

• Medienrücksortierung in Bibliothek und Magazinbestand, Bestandspflege und Feinsortierung

• Bücher folieren, etikettieren und für die Ausleihe vorbereiten

• Mithilfe bei kleinen Projekten und allgemeinen Aufgaben im Bibliotheksalltag

Dein Profil

• Du bist während der gesamten Beschäftigungsdauer an einer Hochschule immatrikuliert

• Du arbeitest sicher mit Microsoft Office und den Google-Tools (Docs, Sheets etc.)

• Du hast Spaß an der Arbeit mit Menschen und bist serviceorientiert

• Du interessierst dich für Bibliotheken oder hast bereits erste Erfahrungen in diesem Bereich gesammelt

• Du arbeitest zuverlässig, sorgfältig und flexibel

• Du verfügst über sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

Student Assistant (all genders)

As soon as possible | 10 hours per week | in Berlin | 14,32 €/hour

Your Responsibilities

• Front desk shifts including lending/returning media and assisting users

• Answering basic questions about our infrastructure and services

• Helping with simple searches in the library catalogue and databases

• Shelving returned items, maintaining order, and checking the collection

• Covering and labeling books

• Assisting library staff with small projects and routine tasks

Your Profile

• You are enrolled at a university for the entire duration of employment

• Confident in using Microsoft Office and Google tools (Docs, Sheets, etc.)

• You enjoy working with people and have a service-oriented mindset

• You are interested in library work or already have some experience in the field

• You are reliable, accurate, and flexible

• You have excellent German and English language skills, both spoken and written
