This voluntary role will give you a valuable insight into the workings of a charitable organisation along with a significant impact on decisions being made by the Union. You will get the chance to discuss, debate and decide on the strategic direction of the Union and its plans for the future while ensuring it is always acting in the interests of students.

We are seeking a Brunel University Student with an enthusiasm for developing student services and student activities, who is able to influence the strategic direction of an organisation and can demonstrate effective leadership qualities. The right candidate will be able to demonstrate honesty, integrity and openness, in addition to commanding confidence, having sound judgement and strong communication skills.

Commitment of Trustees

In the Fulfillment of the role Trustees can expect to:

• Attend the legislative Board of Trustee meetings throughout the academic year and minimum of five Subcommittee meetings.

• Undertake a significant level of reading in preparation for these meetings

Requirements:

You must be a registered student for the forthcoming year to apply for this role.
