Job Title: Student Staff Team Member - Welcome Assistant

Responsible to: Halls’ Student Committee Coordinator

Salary: £12.71 + Holiday Pay

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and passionate team of Welcome Assistants to work during our exciting and busy Welcome Period. The successful team will be responsible for welcoming new students to the Guild, as well as being on hand to signpost, offer directions or any support necessary, and promoting the Guild events over the Welcome period.

Following the welcome period, the team will continue to work, assisting with Give it a Go trips and sessions throughout the year!

Knowledge of campus and student life is essential for this role, so applications from returning students (going into second year and beyond) are preferred for this role.

All Staff will be invited to attend an induction and full training for the role will be given.
