The Student Mentor will be responsible to provide high-quality, consistent support to young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs within an Alternative Provision setting.
The role focuses on enabling young people to engage in learning, develop emotional regulation, and build independence, confidence, and life skills.
The post holder will also use creative, practical, and vocational approaches (such as woodwork, outdoor learning, multi-trade activities, and creative arts) to support engagement and personal development.
Job type: Part time / permanent.
Hours: Part Time (8.30am-4.30pm), 3 Days/Week
