We are looking for an enthusiastic student to join our Student Opportunities Team!
We are looking for a student to join the Student Events Team, primarily supporting the delivery of our year-round program of events; alongside, administrative tasks and event planning. As a Student Events Assistant you will need to manage and carry out a variety of event management tasks.
You’ll also support student groups with their social, showcase and cultural events, providing organisation support and facilitating delivery.
This role is a great opportunity to develop your communication, event planning, management organisation and administrative skills, all while supporting our year-round offering of student events!
Hours: 10-20 per week (dependent on department requirements)
Skills you’ll need:
- An avidness for event planning and management.
- Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office suite and Google Drive
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to relate to people at all levels
- Diligent team work communication
- Outstanding organisation skills, including excellent attention to detail
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work
- A commitment to working in a fast paced environment
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic
