Hours
- 90 hours to be worked flexibility (average 4 hours a week over 35 weeks during term time)
- Available to start week beginning 31stAugust
Salary
- £13.45/hour (plus holiday pay)
Main Activities/ Responsibilities
- Chair democratic meetings including monthly Student Parliament and annual Members Meeting.
- Administrative duties including coordinating Student Parliament agenda and minutes
- Assist in team building and training delivery for Elected Officers
- Keep up to date with Strath Union’s governing documents and policies.
- Engage with the student body on democratic issues
- Support the Voice team with representation and democracy projects, including campaigns and elections activity
- Support Strath Union Exec Officers and Elected Officer committees with research and insights into relevant policy issues including identification of common themes.
- Work with Comms team and elected officers to increase visibility of democratic activity and policies.
