Hours

  • 90 hours to be worked flexibility (average 4 hours a week over 35 weeks during term time)
  • Available to start week beginning 31stAugust

Salary

  • £13.45/hour (plus holiday pay)

Main Activities/ Responsibilities

  • Chair democratic meetings including monthly Student Parliament and annual Members Meeting.
  • Administrative duties including coordinating Student Parliament agenda and minutes
  • Assist in team building and training delivery for Elected Officers
  • Keep up to date with Strath Union’s governing documents and policies.
  • Engage with the student body on democratic issues
  • Support the Voice team with representation and democracy projects, including campaigns and elections activity
  • Support Strath Union Exec Officers and Elected Officer committees with research and insights into relevant policy issues including identification of common themes.
  • Work with Comms team and elected officers to increase visibility of democratic activity and policies.
