Student Ambassador DENTL
About the role
We are seeking BDS and DTH students to work on Friday 11th September 09:50 - 16:00 and/or Saturday 12th September 08:30 - 16:00.
You will give guided tours of the dental School to the Open Day visitors attending the Open Day event.
If you are not available for the full day, the shift options for Friday are:
• AM: 9:50–12:30
• PM: 12:30–16:00
Location for Friday 11th September: The Dental School Building, Heath Park.
Role responsibilities (Friday):
Students will show visitors around the Dental School building. You will be expected to engage with Open Day visitors and provide information where needed. If you are unsure how to respond to a question, please ask them to email DentalCentralEnquiries@cardiff.ac.uk where we will respond to their questions in due course.
We are also seeking BDS and DTH students to work on Saturday 12th September 08:30–16:00.
If you are not available for the full day, the shift options for Saturday are:
• AM: 08:30–12:30
• PM: 12:30–16:00
Location for Saturday 12th September: The IV Lounge (near the Cochrane Building), Heath Park.
Role responsibilities (Saturday):
Students will guide visitors between the marquee (Cochrane Car Park) and the Dental building, returning them to the IV Lounge. You will be expected to engage with Open Day visitors and provide information where needed. If you are unsure how to respond to a question, please ask them to email – DentalCentralEnquiries@cardiff.ac.uk where we will respond to their questions in due course.
You will also support visitors during the phantom head demonstrations, encouraging them to take part.
Important: Please ensure you wear your scrub top and name badge for both days.
