Hours: 37.5 hours per week 

Salary: £25,102 per annum

What we do

Compton Care provides high quality, accessible care and support for the people in our communities living with life limiting conditions across Wolverhampton, the Black Country, South Staffordshire and East Shropshire.

The charity’s annual running costs are £16 million, with 70% funded through our stores, fundraising, and donations from amazing supporters.

What will you do? 

You will be working as part of our stock collecting team, supporting the stores and warehouse with daily collection, deliveries and stock generation activities. Our stock collection team works over 6 days Monday to Saturday, and you will need to be flexible to work your hours across any of these days. You will be committed to ensuring that your service area is as productive as possible and feedback any recommendations to improve service levels, increase income and reduce costs.

What we want you to bring

You don’t need to have previous experience working in the charity sector, but you do need previous experience in fast paced retail/warehouse environment as well as multi drop driving. You will have experience of manual handling, as this is a physical role that requires the movement of stock in, out and around the processing centres. You should also be able to build great relationships as you will be working alongside volunteers and will need to communicate with different stakeholders across the organisation.
