The Department of Pathobiology and Population Sciences invite applications for the role of Staff Pathologist/Lecturer in Veterinary Anatomic Pathology. The successful candidate will join a team of six anatomic pathologists and five anatomic pathology residents. The RVC pathology group is one of the largest academic pathology faculties in Europe and has an international reputation in specialist diagnostics, teaching, and research, with strengths including infectious diseases, farm animal pathology, and forensic pathology.

You should hold a degree in veterinary medicine recognised by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) and have experience and expertise in veterinary pathology, with DipECVP, DipACVP or FRCPath certification, or eligibility to complete these qualifications. Experience in diagnostic anatomic pathology would be an advantage. The post is appointed within academic pay scales, commensurate with qualifications and experience, and includes a London Allowance and employer's contributions to pension scheme. Undertaking clinical diagnostic work attracts an additional clinical academic payment/supplement.
