As a Bank Staff Nurse in Oncology at our Nuffield Health, The Holly Hospital, you will have relevant post-registration experience in Oncology (SACT qualification non-essential, but must have experience working in oncology/haematology)
As an Oncology Staff Nurse, you will:
- Be a valued addition to the team in our consultant and nurse-led service
- Work with patients receiving Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy, including immunotherapy, and supportive treatments
- Be competent and experienced in carrying out nurse-led assessments
- Have excellent inter-professional skills
- SACT qualification non-essential but desirable
- Support and assist consultants in clinics, acting as an advocate for your patients
- Have experience with oncological and haematological emergencies

Overtime
For clinical roles grade 9 and below, the overtime is at a standard rate of pay. For unsocial hours, you’ll be paid an additional enhancement to your salary at the following rates: Nights Hours worked between 7pm and 7am on any day of the week, 30% of basic hourly rate. Weekends Hours worked between 7am and 7pm on a Saturday or Sunday, 20% of basic hourly rate. Bank Holidays Hours worked between midnight and midnight of a bank holiday, 100% of basic hourly rate.
