We invite applications for a 2-year fixed term Staff Clinician position in Equine Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation in the Department of Clinical Science and Services. The service is integrated into the large team of specialists working in RVC Equine and located at our Hawkshead Campus, a 15-minute train ride from the center of cosmopolitan London and near several international airports.
This post is suitable for an enthusiastic veterinarian aiming to expand his/her clinical expertise by focused delivery of clinical services combined with teaching and pursuing research interests, time permitting. We are looking for a veterinarian with a broad interest in all aspects of equine sports medicine and rehabilitation. The candidate will be supported by our existing team in the development of his/her skills. We welcome equine veterinarians that thrive in the clinical setting and are keen to further their skills and reputation through clinical work and exceptional client service. The position will appeal to those that enjoy working in a collaborative and supportive team environment that offers flexibility and family-friendly working patterns.
We are looking for candidates with a RCVS registrable degree in veterinary science, who are diplomates of the American or European College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation. You will be expected to contribute to other clinical activities but not participate in the out-of-hours rota. You will also be expected to supervise and mentor under– and postgraduate students as required.
