Blackpool FC Community Trust (BFCCT) is the official charity of Blackpool FC, based at Bloomfield Road Stadium. Working with residents as young as 2 years old up to adults in the later stages of life, BFCCT provide a diverse range of programmes to increase social inclusion opportunities; improve physical fitness, health, and education; and lessen involvement in anti-social behaviour.

In recent years the Trust has grown significantly and has become an established organisation, providing something for everybody, that every Blackpool FC fan and resident should be involved in and very proud of.

The Sport Tutor will play a key role in the delivery of our Sport post-16 education pathways (Level 2 and 3). Working alongside the College Manager, the Sport Tutor will deliver engaging and inclusive learning experiences for our post-16 sport students, providing them with high quality, careers focused education.

Your role will see you working with a range of colleagues and industry partners to offer enriching opportunities such as workshops, guest speakers, competitions, and placements. These experiences help bring learning to life and give our students a valuable edge in their development.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background/interest in sports and have experience in teaching sport to a wide range of abilities. The post holder will also be responsible for creating and delivering innovative and engaging teaching materials, ensuring that the curriculum is up-to-date and relevant to the needs of our students.

This role will also play a lead role in our Sports Coaching Academy pathway, providing our students with a bespoke sports leadership and coaching programme which provide in depth knowledge into coaching philosophies and methods as well as a varied programme of work experience opportunities.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential. You will also have a strong commitment to student success and a passion for teaching and learning.
