Job Introduction

Specialist Occupational Therapist – Liverpool & Surrounding Areas

Hours: 22.5 per week, 41 weeks/year (term-time) | Contract: Permanent | Salary: £41,490 FTE (pro-rated £22,681)

What You’ll Do

  • Manage your own caseload, working

    autonomouslywhile collaborating with teachers, school staff, and families.
  • Conduct

    holistic assessmentsand develop evidence-based therapy programs tailored to each child.
  • Provide

    specialist advice, training, and guidanceto staff, parents, and carers.
  • Contribute to

    service development, clinical governance, and innovationin practice.
  • Supervise and mentorjunior colleagues, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Occupational Therapist,

    HCPC-registeredandRCOT member.
  • Experience supporting children in

    mainstream schools, particularly those with complex needs or Autism Spectrum Conditions.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to

    work independentlywhile collaborating effectively.
  • Knowledge of assessment tools, outcome measures, and embedding therapy into

    learning environments.
