Type: Full time (Part time hours considered). Monday – Friday 08.00 – 16.00

Salary: From £40,000 up to £47,000 (Dependant on experience). Plus, Excellent Staff Benefits

Are you an experienced, compassionate clinician who wishes to support and enable patient centred care?

If so, we have an exciting opportunity to join the lymphoedema team as a specialist practitioner or in a developmental post.

Lewis-Manning Hospice Care provides a specialist lymphoedema service for people who are living with this condition because of current disease or following cancer treatments. Lymphoedema is not a life limiting illness, however it can be a chronic, long-term condition with both physical and psychological symptom burden. The hospice ethos to lymphoedema care promotes a holistic treatment approach, with the overall aim to improve quality of life.

Who are we and what do we do?

Lewis-Manning Hospice Care is a community-based Hospice dedicated to empowering people to live well. We provide proactive clinical care, health education and psychological support. Enabling individuals and families to adapt, remain in control, and make informed choices about their health and future.

Lewis-Manning Lymphoedema team provide specialist services from clinic sites in Bournemouth and Poole, with the ability to undertake home visits to help symptom management of lymphoedema at end of life.

Experience 

We recognise this is an opportunity for the right person, regardless of AHP profession, to bring their skills and expertise to the role.

We are looking for a clinician with current relevant experience relating to the role. A professional Interest in lymphoedema care is fundamental, with the opportunity to access fast track development & clinical supervision to attain competence and confidence in lymphoedema management.

You will have line management responsibility for a Lymphoedema Assistant and the opportunity to be directly engaged with service growth and development.
