Social Prescribing Link Worker
BS3 Community Development is looking for a compassionate, motivated and proactive Social Prescribing Link Worker to help people across our community improve their mental health and wellbeing.

BS3 Community Development is an independent charity working across Southville and Bedminster. Our mission is to improve the health, wellbeing and quality of life for people who live and work in the BS3 postcode.
Through our Community Development work, we support individuals to overcome challenges such as social isolation, poor mental health, and wider determinants of health including housing, employment and financial difficulties.
About the role…
As a Social Prescribing Link Worker, you will work directly with individuals experiencing mental health challenges, supporting them to take control of their wellbeing and connect with meaningful support in their local community.
Working closely with GP practices, mental health services and other healthcare professionals, Link Workers take a holistic, person‑centred approach to identify issues that may be causing or exacerbating mental ill‑health. This includes supporting appropriate onward referrals via local mental health pathways, connecting people to community groups, VCSE organisations and statutory services for practical, emotional and social support.
