Edinburgh University Students' Association  is looking to recruit 3 Social Media Student Ambassadors to join our Marketing & Communications team.

Edinburgh University Students’ Association is an award-winning organisation, which exists to provide diverse services, representation, and welfare support to the community of over 49,500 students at the University of Edinburgh. By providing opportunities, helping to create change and offering support, we're here to help students get the most out of their time in Edinburgh. We have five venues around the University of Edinburgh campus – Teviot, King’s Buildings House, Potterrow, the Pleasance and Edinburgh College of Art’s Wee Red Bar – which house our offices, cafés, bars, clubs, spaces for students to meet, study and socialise. These spaces transform into some of the most well loved Edinburgh Festival Fringe venues throughout the month of August each year.

We are recruiting for three Social Media Student Ambassadors to help showcase life at Edinburgh and spotlight the Students’ Association

Salary: £13.45 per hour, plus a generous benefits package:

The Role:

As a Social Media Student Ambassador, you will be responsible for capturing and sharing your student journey and the vibrant student life at Edinburgh. You’ll be part of our digital marketing and event teams, showcasing the Students’ Association through videos, live social media content, and engaging with prospective and current students. If you love being in front of the camera and are full of ideas, this is the perfect role for you!

You’ll work across a variety of Students’ Association events and projects, sharing authentic, fun, and informative content about what it’s like to be a student here.

The Person:

We are looking for students who are comfortable being in front of the camera, producing live social media content and engaging with the student community as you share your student experience.

Eligibility   
To apply, you must be:   

  • A current University of Edinburgh student during the 2026/27 academic year.
  • Enrolled in an on-campus undergraduate or postgraduate programme.
  • Will be based in the UK during the full academic year.
  • Excited to share your experiences and represent the university.

Interviews will be held week beginning 31 August 2026.
