This is a fantastic opportunity to work at a leading hospice dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to people with life-limiting illnesses and their families.

At St Christopher’s, we are proud to be at the forefront of palliative care, education, research and community engagement. A key part of our work is changing attitudes around death, dying and grief - using powerful storytelling and innovative campaigns to encourage open conversations and ensure people can access support when they need it.

As Social Media Manager, you will take the lead on our social media strategy, channels and community engagement.

You will be responsible for growing and nurturing our online audiences through powerful storytelling, compelling creative and meaningful interaction. Working across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X and YouTube, you will ensure our content reflects the heart, voice and values of St Christopher’s.

You will develop and deliver a comprehensive social media strategy aligned to organisational goals - driving engagement, increasing reach and supporting income generation. This includes planning and managing content calendars, leading social campaigns, analysing performance data and continuously optimising activity to maximise impact.

You will also play a key role in campaign development, working closely with colleagues across fundraising, retail, education and clinical teams to bring stories to life, challenge misconceptions and inspire action.

We are looking for a creative and strategic thinker with a passion for storytelling and digital engagement.

You will have:

  • Proven experience developing and delivering social media strategies
  • A strong track record of growing and engaging online communities
  • Experience planning and optimising social campaigns
  • Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills, with sensitivity in handling complex topics
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to inform decisions
  • Experience creating or commissioning visual and video content
  • The ability to manage multiple campaigns in a fast-paced environment

You will also be a confident collaborator - able to build relationships across teams, work with influencers and partners, and support colleagues to contribute to social content.

You will join a passionate and collaborative team where no two days are the same, and where your work will have a real and lasting impact.

We offer:

  • A supportive and inclusive working environment
  • Opportunities for professional development and continuous learning
  • Health and wellbeing support
  • A competitive pension and benefits package

If you are a creative, driven and strategic social media professional looking to make a difference, we would love to hear from you.
