Social media plays a vital role in helping us share our residents’ stories, raise crucial funds for their care, and encourage people to visit and support the sanctuary. We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Content Creator to join our team one day per week, capturing engaging photo and video content across the sanctuary. This role is all about gathering raw content for our marketing team to edit and post across our social media channels. With over 700 rescued animals and a beautiful 53-acre sanctuary, there is never a shortage of amazing moments to capture — from playful pigs and curious alpacas to behind-the-scenes sanctuary life. The Role You will spend the day around the sanctuary capturing a variety of content that helps tell the story of Hopefield and the animals who call it home. This includes: • Photographing and filming our rescued residents across the sanctuary • Capturing short-form video content suitable for platforms such as Instagram and Facebook • Filming day-to-day sanctuary life, animal care routines and special moments • Gathering content from events, animal updates and behind-the-scenes activities • Working closely with our marketing team to capture the types of content we need Please note: This role focuses solely on content creation. Posting, editing and scheduling will be handled by our marketing team. What We're Looking For We’re looking for someone who: • Has a passion for animals and animal welfare • Enjoys photography and video creation • Has a good eye for engaging social media content • • • Is comfortable filming animals and people in a natural, candid way Is reliable, organised and able to work independently Is confident using a smartphone or camera to capture content Previous social media or photography experience is beneficial but not essential — enthusiasm, creativity and a love for animals are what matter most. Why This Role Matters Social media is one of the most powerful tools we have to share our work with the world. The content we create helps: • Raise awareness about animal welfare issues • Generate donations that directly fund the care of our rescued residents • Encourage visitors to support the sanctuary • Share the individual rescue stories of the animals who now call Hopefield home Every photo and video helps more people discover the sanctuary and support our mission. How to Apply Please email office@hopefield.org.uk with a cover letter, supported by a portfolio to showcase your photography/videography skills. We look forward to hearing from people who want to help us tell the stories of our incredible rescued residents
