Slice of Life NPNP Project Lead
We are seeking a Slice of Life NPNP Project Lead to work as part of our Circuit Team.
Do you want to work with an established project to grow disciples and make a tangible difference in the lives of the young people of Burley-in-Wharfedale?
Are you willing to work closely with an established team of volunteers, a circuit Steering group which includes collaboration with another New Places for New People (NPNP) project in Otley, and to build community connections and buy-in all while serving pizza to young people and having deep, meaningful conversations?
Do you have: a heart for evangelism and discipleship, creating new ecclesial community with a growing number of young people; a brain for project leadership and receptive ears for how God may be calling this project into the next phase of existing; knowledge of acquiring and maintaining a high food hygiene rating?

The successful candidate will become part of the Methodist Pioneer Pathway Community which offers community of practice gatherings, pioneer ministry training and coaching.
The appointment requires an enhanced DBS disclosure with Barred List check and satisfactory references.
There is an occupational requirement for the postholder to be a practising Christian.

NEXT STEPS & MAIN TERMS
| Hours of work: | 35 hours per week with core hours of 6pm – 9pm on Fridays. The remaining hourscan be worked flexibly in agreement with your Line Manager, including someevenings and weekends. Actual days, start and finish times will be variable inaccordance with the needs of the Employer. The days of the week on which you maybe required to work are Monday to Sunday. You will not be expected to work onmore than five days in a calendar week. |
| Contract: | Initial Three Year Fixed Term Contract |
| Salary: | Between £28,210 and £32,000 per annum, depending upon experience andqualifications, with enrolment in the Circuit's workplace pension scheme. |
| Location: | Based at Burley-in-Wharfedale Methodist Church, LS29 7DT and/or your homeaddress but with ministry focussed in the village of Burley in Wharfedale. |
