What are we looking for?
We are looking to appoint a Site Receptionist on a fixed-term contract to assist in the planning and delivery of RIAT 26,
your main responsibilities will include:
- To act as a first point of contact for the suppliers & contractors of goodsand services arriving at RIAT26 via Gate G (contractors gate) and its supporting security arrangements on Bay 29 (Site Reception location)
- Co-ordinate and administer the issue of personal and where applicable vehicle passes, per the prepopulated Allow Me database
- Contacting and where appropriate acting on behalf of the DBH permanent staff with respect to pass queries and anomalies
- Deliver the relevant Site Induction. This may include:
- Giving a Powerpoint Presentation
- Showing a film
- Giving directions to a specific location
- Arranging a motorcycle escort
- Communicate effectively at all levels
- Encouraging an environment of open communication and the building of cross functional relationships

about you
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual with at least five GCSEs (or national equivalent) and a full UK driving licence to join our team. The successful candidate will be IT literate, with confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, and possess excellent interpersonal skills. You’ll be comfortable working as part of a team, able to prioritise tasks effectively, and confident in public speaking to deliver site inductions. A strong commitment to safety is essential, alongside a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Previous knowledge or experience of RIAT would be an advantage, but not essential.
